Our story
Local people. Specialist tree care.
Rosewood Tree Care Ltd is a Hatfield-based tree care company led by Georgie Smith. We work for homeowners and residents who want their gardens to feel safe, light and manageable again.
Most of the people we help have a specific problem: branches pressing against the roof, a tree that has outgrown its space, a hedge that is impossible to reach, a stump in the way, or damage after a storm. We sort the problem out properly and remove all green waste from the agreed work on completion.
Georgie is NPTC / City & Guilds qualified and leads the team, which covers residential tree surgery, felling, crown thinning, pruning, pollarding, stump grinding, hedge trimming, emergency tree work and green waste removal.
We are based in Hatfield and work across Hertfordshire, including Welwyn Garden City, St Albans, Hertford, Potters Bar, Harpenden, Stevenage, Ware.
Mission and standards
What you can expect on every job
Our aim is simple: leave you with healthier trees, a safer home and a garden you can use, without anything left for you to clear.
A free quotation before any work
You know what the job involves and what it costs before you decide. There is no charge to find out.
Correct, considered cutting
We cut to suit the tree’s health and your garden, not simply to remove as much as possible.
Safety around your home
Work is planned with precautions intended to reduce risks to people, property and planting. The approach depends on the tree and access.
A garden left clear
All green waste is completely removed from your property once the job is complete.
Honest advice
If a tree can sensibly be kept, we say so. If something needs checking with the council first, we tell you.
Available when it matters
For fallen and storm-damaged trees, call about our 24/7 emergency availability. Attendance depends on the situation and demand at the time.
